Proctorio is the proctoring service that the college has adopted for test-taking. Depending on the types of classes you are enrolled in, your instructors may require your exams to be proctored using Proctorio. To ensure that you are ready, you will need to install the Proctorio Chrome Extension using these instructions:

 

1.) Make sure you are using Google Chrome.

2.) Go to getproctorio.com to get the Proctorio Chrome Extension (follow the prompts on your screen).

 

Proctorio's Support staff is ready to help you if you ever need additional assistance! You can contact Support through Proctorio's Live Chat by clicking on the extension icon in the upper right corner of your screen and starting a chat once you are in the exam, or you can email Support at support@proctorio.com.

Once you have installed the Proctorio Chrome Extension, you will get a screen that says, "Secure Exam Proctoring Plugin Successfully Installed! Please return to your course." You need to do a screenshot or take a picture of your screen and attach a copy of it here to receive credit.  Assignments must be submitted in Canvas. Do not email your screenshot or picture. Click on the submit button and upload your scan or picture to CANVAS. Acceptable file types include the following:

 

PDF (Adobe)

JPEG (Image)

DOC (Word)

DOCX (Word)

PNG (Portable Network Graphic)

ODT (Open Document Text)
